Doing a lot of DWI work in Missouri I am increasingly exposed to Drug Recognition Examiners. These officers are trained to detect indiviuals under the influence of drugs. under the influence is the legal standard of intoxication in Missouri. The DRE combined with Missouri's very lazy intoxication standard creates anearly per se standard for drug related DWI's in Missouri.

I have noticed to a small degree that jury are concerned about this and have started to nullify.
