I went to trial. It didn't matter. The laws are on the prosecutor's side. They wouldn't even offer me a plea. It's impossible to win against the machine. Even though I did the field sobriety test fine. Even though the officer committed perjury on the stand. Even though it was proved by trial that the police report was falsified. I still lost because of the number that the machine spit out. I was doing the HCG diet at the time and in ketosis. Didn't matter. It seems like a lost cause to me. I spent $12000 and may as well have plead guilty because I didn't win anything.

Give them hell make there asses try and prove it die with your boots on remember they have the burden of proof. Learn the law and defend yourself in minor cases such as DUI. Juries have a lot of respect for those defending themselfes. And fill out the proper paperwork that lets the jury decide your punishment not the judge incase you where to lose

And therein lies the rub. Thousands, if not more, innocents take the plea prior to trial. They avoid the massive expense and take the guaranteed minimum. This is how our courts operate now. Expediency trumps truth.
That’s why police arrest anyone and everyone for DUI. Put them in the dui “mill” and let them plead. A man was recently arrested for DUI while “driving” a motorized wheelchair on a sidewalk in Tampa Bay. Thank God the police stopped him. He might have killed someone while “driving” 0.07mph down the sidewalk. Any bets on if he took the plea deal?
