There's no reason this story should slow down. For years MADD has been fooling America into thinking that they were not the modern day WCTU. They are neo-prohibitionists,plain and simple. They are not much better than Muslim terrorists in my book. The very brief debate between Sarah Longwell and Laura Dean Mooney gave me the idea that MADD should have a public face off with the people that disagree with them. When the "Amethst Initiative" was proposed, MADD ran from that like Charles De Gaulle from a German Panzer unit. Why ?
I'll tell you why. All of MADD's phony and exagerated claims would be exposed, that's why.
Here we are again, MADD telling the President of the United States of America what he should drink ? It's time to send these "Agents of Tehran" packing !! Who do they think they are for God's sake ? They have gotten way to big for their britches, and way, way, way out of control. It's time for a nationally televised public (moderated) debate !!
Mr.Taylor, get Sarah Longwell, Jeanne Pruett, Stephen Beck, and whoever and yourself of course and line up a team debate !! Go for it !
P.S.- Any news on the movie ?

This story doesn't appear to be slowing down. Yesterday there were 8 articles on this, today there are 19!!! And the articles aren't kind. A few are calling for MADD to disband including an article published by NBC.

[...] Mother’s Against Drunk Driving joins PETA in the my-agenda-arises-from-a-dystopian-daydream competition: “MADD is no longer an organization that opposes drunk driving, but an anti-alcohol group that has been hijacked by the modern day temperance movement,” Sarah Longwell of the American Beverage Institute said in a statement emailed to reporters. “That someone in a position of leadership at MADD would criticize President Obama for simply drinking beer, illustrates the neoprohibitionist mentality that now dominates the group. … MADD’s position on the ‘Beer Summit’ should remind Americans that the group once dedicated to preventing drunk driving has transitioned into leading the anti-alcohol movement,” from Politco.com noted via DUI BLOG : Bad Drunk Driving Laws, False Evidence and a Fading Constitution.
