I like your logic Justin. I myself use the analogy of putting all poor people under arrest because they are more apt to steal from someone (or have stolen from someone). Kind of like when I was a kid and my dad punished me to find out later that I didn't do what he thought I did, but made the comment that I probably did something to deserve it anyway... (kind of like the stat that states that people convicted of drunk driving do so 80some times before they get caught... where did they get that statistic?)

Only criticism is that I would include the word 'flawed' in regard to testing for ballistics if I understand your analogy correctly, but I am certain I am just picking nits on this one.

Michael McAuliffe --- why is he still the state attorney after making such inane comments? That kind of logic is like saying - if you own a gun you've probably murdered someone so we should have to confiscate it - test it for ballistics and then prosecute you for any unsolved murder cases - just to be sure.

If only the ACLU could ride along. There were some videos I remember on you tube called "know your rights" which I think is a necessity if you want to drive. Sadly if you watched Sandra Day O'Connor interview on Comedy Central (comedy central!!! not CNN, ABC, NBC, or other news networks) she stated kids these days aren't being taught civics or government. It is not surprising people think forcing a needle into someone is "not a big deal" and the constitution is "just a piece of paper."
