It's a slam dunk win-win thing for the MADDness. If not a single DUI arrest is made, then it's "See,these roadblocks keep drunks off the roads,WE NEED THEM". If 85 people were arrested for DUI, then it's "See, thanks to these roadblocks we took 85 drunks off the road. WE NEED THEM." They even have little toy Nazi-Style roadblocks now. I believe that Fisher-Price is the manufacturer of these adorable, brainwashing the children little gems:

This is the sort of logic that robs individuals of their Constitutional rights. It will go unchecked and seem as if law enforcement is doing th epublic a favor. However, with rights being eroded and logic/science thrown out the window, many people have no faith in the laws regardind DUI or how theiry enforced.

I like how they check for insurance, license, and registration, in the guise of a DUI roadblock. They get a lot of revenue for the other violations they find. The police state has arrived. Just imagine you had one beer with dinner and the officer smells it, you are going to be taken to the police station for your breath test, or have one there on the spot with a hand held. And remember you can be arrested for less than the legal limit if they consider you show signs of impairment.
