The officer had been following me for close to 5 miles and decided to pull me over no more than 3 seconds from my driveway. I'm a smoker and I dropped my cigarette and swerved, which is a normal reaction when something ON FIRE hits your leg...so he pulled me over and asked my why I was swerving. I told him and said, "Look sir? That smoke coming from my floorboard? That's it!" Yeah I had had a couple of beers that night, but you know what? I drove close to 40 miles to get home WITHOUT incident! What "nonprofitnotinitforthemoney" BOrgs like MADD fail to realize is that BAC fails to throw height and weight into account. I was.06 to.08 . All that I have read lead's me to beleive it was a wrongfull arrest. I was eating bread at the time the officer came over to my car,I smoke and I was clearly not drunk he wouldn't tell me why he was at my window one officer apoligized and said good luck another said what a night to piss off a captain all I did was ask what did I do .It is horrible to drink and drive but so is harassment I was harassed and have not been the same since.
