I had a friend who called a cab to pick him up from a bar, went to his car to roll up his windows, and was arrested as his cab was pulling up. But this was before he even entered his car. He was arrested for simply being next to his car, under the influence, and with his keys in hand.

The amount of leeway police are allowed to have with DUI laws is ridiculous.
